Power Sweep
When power sweeping the brush head expands to suit the flue through centrifugal force. When sweeping it also centres itself, and because it is not a traditional brush there is no surface tension being created in the sweeping process as the head adjusts to fit the flue. A cordless drill is used to rotate the rods and the force of the sweeping action can be adjusted by increasing the speed of the drill. This has the effect of stiffening the brushing action and therefore if you are doing a heavily built up clay / steel flue liner then you get an unbelievable cleaning action. In short you clean chimneys more effectively causing less strain on the structure of the flue.
